A cozy knit, this soft squishy cabled hat is a quick project to make.
Materials:
1 skein Lionbrand Heartland, color Yosimite
Size US 8 double pointed needles
Size US 8 16 inch circular needles
Cable Needle
Marker
Finished Measurements
Height: 9 inches
Circumference: 22 inches
Gauge: 20 stitches by 20 rows = 4 inches in cable pattern
Abbreviations:
k: knit
p: purl
m1: make a stitch
1x1 rib: knit one stitch, then purl the next, repeat k1,p1 across the entire row.
C4F: Slip 2 stitches onto the cable needle and hold at the front of the work, knit 2, knit 2 from cable needle.
k2t: knit 2 stitches together

Cable Pattern:
Row 1: [C4F, p2] Repeat from [ to ] until there are 10 stitches before the marker. [C4F, p1, m1] 2x (there should now be 78total stitches)

Row 5: [C4F, p2] around the row

Repeat rows 5-8 five more times.
