Knitting: A Constant Companion

Last weekend our world forever changed with the loss of my husband's 22 year old nephew, Joel.  In the aftermath of the tragedy and all the ripple effects that have and will continue to follow,  I need the feel of soft cotton yarn in my hands.  I need to be able to keep my hands busy.  Knitting has always helped carry me through grief, it's a steadfast companion once again.

The teal (Jasper) and cream (Bone) yarn is Blue Sky Alpaca Worsted Cotton and the red yarn is Rowan Summer Tweed in Summer Berry.
